Your CHARLÉ piece is crafted from full-grain cowhide - a natural material that ages beautifully with a little care. A few simple habits will keep it at its best for years.
Caring for Your Leather
To preserve the appearance and quality of your piece:
- Do not wash or immerse in water
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not iron
- Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, and excessive heat
- Store in a cool, dry place when not in use
- Wipe gently using a clean, soft cloth
Storage
When not in use, store your piece in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep it in its dust bag and let it rest in its natural shape - avoid overstuffing, which can distort the silhouette over time.
The Nature of Leather
As a natural material, genuine leather shows slight variations in grain, texture, and colour, and develops a subtle character with use. These are marks of authenticity, not flaws - part of what makes each piece its own.

Confirmed manufacturing defects are handled under our Refund & Return policy; for everyday wear over time, we'll advise on the best options for repair or care on a case-by-case basis.
